Six persons were accredited as interpreters for the parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019 on behalf of the representative office in Moldova of the International Republican Institute (IRI) of the U.S.
The Central Election Commission approved a decision to this effect in its December 14 meeting, IPN reports.
The six interpreters are Moldovans and were employed by the IRI. In their activity, they will help the IRI observers accredited to oversee the parliamentary elections, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova. A number of 13 IRI observers have been accredited so far.
