The Central Election Committee (CEC) authorised Tuesday, March 20, the mandate of municipal councillor Elena Ajder, member of the Christian Democrat People’s Party (PPCD). Elena Ajder was assigned the municipal councillor mandate after the faction’s former leader Alexandru Corduneanu was appointed as deputy mayor of Chisinau on February 1, a position incompatible with that of the councillor. The Christian Democrat faction counts 5 members at present. For the time being, the present leader of the respective faction was not elected.
