The Central Election Commission (CEC) agreed an expenditure estimate for elections larger than the sum planned by the Government when adjusting the budget for this year, Info-Prim Neo reports. CEC president Eugeniu Stirbu proposed an expenditure of over 42 million lei, as against 35 million lei earmarked by the executive. Stirbu said the expenditure includes the costs of the campaign that will be carried out in the Transnistrian region and abroad.
