CEC accredits PACE and OSCE observers
The Central Election Commission (CEC) on March 30 accredited new international observers to monitor the April 5 parliamentary elections, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Commission.
Thus, the elections will be monitored by 19 observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), 75 observers from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, 62 international observers and 20 representatives of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/BIDDO) and 1 international observer from the Observer Mission of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Earlier, the CEC accredited international observes on behalf of European organizations and states that filed relevant applications.
