Seventy entrepreneurs attended courses on how to digitize their businesses, and 12 companies received grants to implement modern solutions. The results are part of the business digitalization project carried out by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), with the assistance of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and GIZ, IPN reports.
According to the organizers, in the past year and a half, the project has focused on two main directions: training of entrepreneurs and offering of financial support to companies through grants.
To support the development of skills in the field, the Digital Academy of the CCI was launched to provide educational courses for entrepreneurs. It allows entrepreneurs to learn digitalization strategies and implement technologies that can improve their business.
The CCI also modernized its own information systems, becoming one of the most digitized institutions in the country. "All the services of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry are now available in digital format," CCI president Sergiu Harea said at a conference held to present the results of the project.
One of the beneficiaries of the project is Victoria Mosinschi, the dministrator of "Vila Dorului" pension, who implemented software for automating sales in the restaurant and is working on the digitization of hotel reservations. "We felt the need for these changes and received the necessary support to implement them," she said.
Victoria Pisarenco, a hairstylist who took refuge in Moldova from Ukraine, developed an online platform for her business after learning about the project.
Among the project's achievements is the digitization of ATA carnets for temporary export, which, according to the authorities, is an important progress at international level. The training courses were uploaded on the CCI's online platform, providing entrepreneurs with permanent access to essential information about digitalization.
