The public association CCF Moldova – Child, Community, Family has launched a campaign to collect funds for seven single mothers. The assocoatipon’s coordinator for communication and fundraising Tatiana Codreanu has told Info-Prim Neo that the money will be used to pay rent for a period of at most three months, during which the mothers will be able to find a job and the children to attend the crèche, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The seven mothers are single and have no support. Four of them graduated from boarding schools, while three come from families experiencing different problems. The lack of dwelling can make them abandon their children, even if they are their only treasure,” said Tatiana Codreanu. The women are now at a maternal center, but will have to leave it in several months. They do not have where to go. Most of the children are under one and cannot be taken to kindergarten. The campaign will last until March 11. Those who want can make donations at Shoping Malldova center, where there is a collection box.
