The parliamentary group of the Party of Action and Solidarity has a new member. This is Roman Roșca whose seat was validated by the Constitutional Court following a request made by the Central Election Commission, IPN reports. The seat of MP was vacated on June 28 by Dorel Iurcu, who chose in favor of the mayoralty of Horodiște village of Rezina district.
CEC vice president Pavel Postică said that in accordance with the law on the status of Member of Parliament, the vacant seat is allotted to the next substitute candidate from the list of the same party. Roman Roșca was the next substitute on the PAS list.
Roman Roșca is a jurist with higher education and a master’s degree.
Two more seats of MP remained vacant after Elena Bodnarenco of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists died and after PAS MP Vladimir Bolea was named Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.
