The fourth opinion poll made public in the current election campaign shows the popular approval rating of the Communists Party has worsened, while of some of the parties of the Alliance for European Integration has improved, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the poll presented by the Center for Sociological Investigations and Marketing CBS-AXA and the Center for Marketing and Opinion Research of Romania, the Communists Party (PCRM) would poll 35% of the vote, as against about 45% in the early legislative elections of July 29, 2009. The PCRM would be followed by the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) with 28% of the poll, in contrast to 16.5% in the previous elections. The Democratic Party comes next with 18% of the vote, a slight decrease compared with the last elections. The Liberal Party would also obtain a slightly lower result - 12%. The Moldova Noastra Alliance would not pass the election threshold of 4%. Thus, the PCRM would hold 37 seats of MP, the PLDM – 30 seats, the PDM – 20 seats, while the PL – 14 seats. Vlad Filat is trusted by 18% of the respondents, as opposed to a popular approval rating of 14% given to him by a similar poll released in October. He surpassed Vladimir Voronin, whose rating is 16%, down from 21% in the previous poll. Marian Lupu is trusted by 12% of those polled, while Mihai Ghimpu – by 5%. The poll was carried out between November 9 and 16 and covered a sample of 1,022 persons. It was commissioned by the company Public Media.
