A Catholic religion center will be opened in Chisinau on May 3. The parents of all faiths are invited to take their children there. “It is a kind of kindergarten. We will organize all kinds of activities in accordance with the national children’s education program,” one of the educators of the center, Mihaela Horvat, told Info-Prim Neo. The center could be attended by children born in 2006 and 2007. “We will not focus on religious education. We will respect the faith of every family and child that will come here. Only a prayer will be said before and after the meal to give thanks to God. The parents will be informed about this,” Mihaela Horvat said. The center’s working program will be similar to that of an ordinary kindergarten. The children will take breakfast, lunch and a light meal in the afternoon. The personnel will include two educators, a nurse, cooks and other necessary staff. The center was built with support from Catholic donors and will be financed in continuation from parents’ allocations.
