The fullback of the national football team of Moldova Catalin Carp from the next season will play for Viitorul Constanta. The 22-year-old footballer terminated his contract with Steaua Bucuresti and will now play under the guidance of Gheorghe Hagi, IPN reports.
“Mister Hagi helped many young footballers to showcase their talents. For my part, I want to rebuild my career because I lost a whole year with Steaua. Now I want to relish again football alongside Mister Hagi,” Catalin Carp stated for a TV channel.
In Romania, Carp also played for CFR Cluj. Earlier, he played for Shakhtar and Dinamo Kiev. For the national football team of Moldova, the fullback played ten matches and scored one goal, against Romania’s national squad.
