A number of patients suffered complications as a result of operations on eyes and of treatment received at the Chisinau-based Hospital “Saint Trinity”. The Rascani Prosecutor’s Office ordered an investigation into these cases following press reports on the issue, IPN reports.

Anyone with any information about these cases is asked to report it to the Rascani Prosecutor’s Office or call (022) 45-07-14.

The press reported that ten patients suffered complications as a result of eye surgery undergone on June 16. Samples for lab analyses were taken to determine the cause of infection.
