Case of girl trafficked to Turkey in Premier’s focus

Acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega, at the beginning of the December 16 meeting of the interim Cabinet, asked for information about the girl from Soroca, who went missing 13 years ago and who was recognized by her mother in a recent feature about the sexual slaves of traffickers in persons from Turkey.

Both acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalia Gherman and acting Minister of the Interior Oleg Balan said they contacted the competent authorities of Turkey to find out details and are waiting for an answer.

In another development, the acting Premier asked that the legislation should be obeyed and the private drugstores should be removed from inside hospitals.

As the holidays are coming, Gheorghe Brega requested that the checks on passenger and freight transport should be intensified.
