A cart on which there were four children and their mother was hit by a car near Troiţa Nouă village of Anenii Noi district. The breathalyzer showed the 40-year-old woman was inebriated, General Police Inspectorate press officer Mariana Beţivu has told IPN.

According to the Anenii Noi Police Inspectorate, the car driver was blinded by the lights of a car coming from the opposite direction and he thus hit the cart from behind.

The woman and the children from the cart didn’t suffer serious injuries, but were taken to the Anenii Noi District Hospital for additional examinations.
