The vehicles illegally parked near the intersection of the streets Calea Mosilor and Ismail, mostly in front of the open-air market Calea Basarabiei and the strip mall Domus, will be towed to decongest traffic flow in this very busy area, said Chisinau Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca. Additionally, the area will be under video surveillance and will be constantly patrolled by the police. The area is crowded with trucks that sell construction materials on the curbside as well as with cars of customers visiting the strip mall and Calea Basarabiei, which is the city's largest open-air market.
