The illegally parked cars will be taken away by private companies, not by the state-run enterprise Guard Services of the Ministry of Home Affairs, as it was agreed earlier. This is provided in a draft decision that was approved by the Cabinet on June 17, IPN reports.

Minister of Home Affairs Pavel Voicu said the state-run enterprise Guard Services in 2018 was to provide such services, but until now it has been unable to do this owing to its reduced capacities and the proper management of the contravention process directed by ascertaining agents of the Ministry cannot be ensured.

The minister noted that regulations will be worked out to set all the tariff norms. The private companies will be chosen at tender contests.
