The chief Transnistrian conflict settlement negotiators of Chisinau and Tiraspol, Eugen Carpov and Nina Shtanski, will have a meeting in Tiraspol this weekend. The meeting will take place at the office of the OSCE Mission in Tiraspol, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué of the Reintegration Office, the discussions will focus on the preparations for the first round of the Transnistrian conflict settlement talks in the 5+2 format this year, which will be held in Vienna on February 27-28.

The two met in Chisinau in January. They discussed the situation of the Moldovan-administered Latin-script schools in Transnistria and agreed to carry out joint inspections at these institutions.
