A caricature exhibit themed “European impressions” was staged at the National Museum of Arts of Moldova by the Embassy of Poland on the occasion of the National Day of Poland, marked on May 3. It centers on the social-political and economic situation in Poland, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the opening of the event, Polish Ambassador to Moldova Bogumil Luft said that the exhibition makes fun of Poland’s stubbornness not to adopt the euro as national currency and of other small problems faced by this country. Deputy Minister of Culture Gheorghe Postica said that such events are very important for Moldova because they ensure a cultural exchange between countries. The caricatures are copies of works that were exhibited at a caricature museum in Poland.
