Career planning for 100 Moldovan students

100 Moldovan students will be able to attend free career planning training courses as part of the Next Step 2008 Project, implemented by AIESEC, Info-Prim Neo reports. Project coordinator Marina Cucer told a news conference on Friday the beneficiaries would be third to fifth years studying in Chisinau's universities. According to AIESEC foreign relations and communication manager Andrei Enachi, the project consists of a series of trainings taught by 4 international experts experienced in management and HR. Among the topics of the trainings are communication and public speech, project management, job searching, and others. The courses will be held on weekends and the working languages will be Romanian and English. Those willing to attend the courses will have to submit applications and pass an interview. “The salary of a student on a full-time job can range from 2,000 to 8,000 lei, while the salary of a part-time employee is negotiated with every student apart”, Rodion Gavriloi, the representative of a potential employer, said at the same conference. In 2007, the Next Step Project provided training to a similar group of 100 students, 5 of whom found a job immediately after the courses completed. AIESEC, the world's largest student organization, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact on society.
