Caravan of Kindness will bring joy to children from orphanages and vulnerable families
Children from orphanages and socially vulnerable families from Moldova’s villages will receive humanitarian aid as part of the charity campaign “Caravan of Kindness”.
The Caravan will set off from the Great National Assembly Square starting November 2 each Friday, at 10.00am. It will convey candies and other delicious dishes to deprived children. The groups of volunteers will give performances in orphanages and in villages.
According to project manager Rada Bondarciuc, students from Chisinau schools and lyceums will be the main campaign participants. Artistic groups, economic entities, nongovernmental organisations and individuals that want to help the needy children are invited to take part in the campaign.
“Caravan of Kindness” provides not only material aid but also communication, Rada Bondarciuc says. The psychologists and teachers will offer assistance to the children.
The activities organised by the Children’s Charity Foundation “Clipa Siderala” (“Sidereal Moment”) have the “Christmas Caravan” organised for nine years between December 15 and 25 as model.
The charity campaign “Caravan of Kindness” is organised with the support of the Ministry of Education and Youth of Moldova and of the Chisinau Division of Education, Science, Youth and Sports.
