Three persons were taken to the hospital after two cars collided at the intersection of the Chisinau streets Armeneasca and Shchusev in the morning of July 6. As a result of the collision, one of the cars overturned.

Head of the Chisinau Emergency Medicine Department Ciprian Gherasim has told IPN that three persons were admitted to the hospital and are subject to examinations, but the wounds they sustained do not endanger their lives.

Contacted by IPN, head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said that the driver or a Renault didn’t give way to a Dacia and the two vehicles collided. The mother of the driver of Dacia, aged 54, was taken to the hospital. Afterward, the two drivers also needed medical care.

In another accident on Uzinelor St in Chisinau, a pedestrian was struck by a Nissan Micra, which was projected onto the sidewalk by a truck. The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital.
