The Central Election Commission on September 13 set a cap on the financial resources that can be transferred to the Election Fund of the runner in the October 30 presidential elections, IPN reports.
CEC president Alina Russu said the cap was set at 65.7 million lei. It was determined by multiplying 0.5% of the average official salary for the year that preceded the election year by the number of voters.
