Candies under Christmas Tree
The Christmas Tree placed in the Great National Assembly Square on December 1 brings the traders selling nearby a larger number of buyers.
“The holidays gladden us as sellers and them as buyers. We sell more sweets as they are in demand. The younger people purchase candies for their partners, while the older ones for their children, for tea. Passing nearby, the people buy by 100 - 200 grams of candies,” said Veronica, a trader.
Veronica is yet the only seller of candies and biscuits at the Christmas Fair. She said the sweets made by Bucuria are the most popular.
