Ștefan Creangă, Veaceslav Untila, Octavian Calmîc and Eugen Carpov are the candidates selected by the Parliament’s commission on economy, budget and finance for the vacancies of director of the Administration Board of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER), IPN reports, quoting the Parliament’s press service. This way, one more candidate could not be found for the five posts declared vacant.
Under the regulations concerning the organization of the contest, the commission on economy, budget and finance is to present the chosen candidates to Parliament and the legal commission for appointments and immunities for confirmation. Later the candidates will be approved by Parliament.
Under the law on energy system, the National Agency for Energy Regulation is led by an Administration Board that consists of five directors. The members of the Administration Board of the NAER are named by Parliament decision for a six-year term. All the five posts of director became vacant last yearend.
