After the main Baccalaureate session, the candidates challenged over 14,000 test papers of the total of about 72,000, being dissatisfied with the grades. This is 19.5% of the total number of test papers, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Education.
Most of the challenges refer to the exam in the Romanian language and literature – over 3,000. This is also the exam to which the largest number of candidates were admitted. The lowest number of challenges refer to the exam in the mother tongue (Ukrainian, Gagauz and Bulgarian), but the number of candidates allowed to take this exam is also the lowest. From geographic viewpoint, most of the challenges – over 6,000 – were filed by candidates from Chisinau municipality.
The final results, after the examination of challenges, will be posted at Baccalaurean centers on July 6. Applications for being admitted to the additional Baccalaureate session can be submitted to these centers on July 6 and 7.
