The Cabinet accepted Victor Haruta for the post of Moldova’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. The appointment decree is to be signed by President Igor Dodon, IPN reports.

Victor Haruta has worked in the diplomatic service for over 12 years. He worked at Moldova’s embassies in the Czech Republic and the UK. His last post was as part of the European Integration Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He knows English, Finch, Russian and the Czech languages.

Victor Haruta will be the first ambassador to this country. The Government of Moldova announced its intention to open an embassy in Abu Dhabi last October.
