The Parliamentary committee responsible for the media chose, on Wednesday, March 19, by the vote of five members, to nominate Vitalie Tabunscic for the vacant position of a member in the Broadcasting Coordinating Council (BCC,) Info-Prim Neo reports. The decision is to be considered by the Legal Committee, too. Later, the Parliament will finally decide on the new BCC member. Three candidates applied for the position: Aurelian Lavric, a university professor of history, Vitalie Tabunscic, the deputy director of the Moldova 1 TV station and Ghenadie Brega, the president of the Hyde Park NGO.
