The summer season in camps for school students starts on June 2. More than 19,000 children will be able to rest in summer camps this year. Contacted by IPN, deputy head of the Chisinau Division of Education, Youth and Sport Valentina Cujba said 37 day summer camps for over 3,000 children will be set up in the municipal education institutions. A child can rest for 15 days there.

According to Valentina Cujba, places will be also rented in 10 summer camps with full program. The tender contest for choosing the camps isn’t yet over.

A ticket to a day summer camp this year costs 940 lei, while to a camp with full program – 1,370 lei. In such camps the children can rest for 10 to 12 days. The parents will pay only 20% of the price of the ticket. The rest will be covered with money from the municipal budget.

20% of the tickets will be provided free to orphans and children from socially deprived famlies.
