Three months after launched, the campaign to collect documents about the Old Chisinau has been prolonged by a month. The head of the Chisinau City Hall’s press service Vadim Branzaniuc has told IPN that the campaign was extended because they collected not many documents.

Until now, there were brought approximately 50 photographs about the Old Chisinau. The goal of the campaign is to collect photographs, archives, journals, books and other writings in order to create a database about the architectural monuments in the historical area of the capital city.

The people who possess documents about the Old Chisinau and want to become involved in the campaign can send them in electronic, archived or scanned format to the email address drp@pmc.md or can bring them personally to the Public Relations Division of the Chisinau City Hall. The collected photographs and sketches are scanned and archived.
