Prime Minister Iurie Leanca urged his colleagues from the Cabinet and from other public authorities to join the initiative to transform the last week of Lent into a week of cleanup all over the country, IPN reports.

“The feasts are approaching and we usually make effort to purify our souls and to clean up the homes and yards. In this connection, I would like to call on all the people and on the local and central public authorities to make a week of cleanup of the last week of Lent,” said the Premier.

Minister of the Environment Gheorghe Salaru assured he will present a plan of action for the national cleanup campaign in two-three days.
