Former MP Calin Vieru was not allowed to enter the territory controlled by the Transnistrian authorities and had to go back from the Dubasari border crossing point. Calin Vieru was going to Ukraine on business. He stated for Info-Prim Neo that the border guards told him he was to inform the Transnistrian foreign ministry about his trip beforehand. “They told me rudely that the persons who traveled in the car with me could cross the border, while I should return. The barbarous border guards did not allow me to enter Transnistria,” Calin Vieru said. After the incident, the former MP bypassed the border crossing point and went to Ukraine through the south of Moldova, where there is a direct frontier with the neighboring country.
