The Constitutional Court of Romania rejected on Tuesday all appeals filed by Călin Georgescu, upholding the Central Electoral Bureau's (BEC) decision to invalidate his candidacy for the May presidential elections, IPN reports.
Constitutional judges dismissed all 12 appeals against BEC’s decision to reject Georgescu’s presidential bid, according to Romanian media citing authorized sources from the Constitutional Court.
The decision of the Constitutional Court of Romania is final and binding.
