Starting with 2014, the Tourism Agency will publish the calendar of cultural-touristic events that will take place in Moldova, the institution’s director Nicolae Platon announced in a news conference, IPN reports.
Nicolae Platon said an agreement was reached for the Tourism Agency to be informed about all the events that are staged in districts. “We pledged to make these events public and to promote them so as to attract tourists to these areas,” he stated.
Under the tourism development strategy “Turism 2020”, a road-touristic map will be printed in 10,000 copies and there will be produced five touristic guides. The Tourism Agency also aims to annually mount 10 touristic events.
