Cahul children to study content of international convention on chidlren's rights

Deputy directors for education of ten schools from Cahul district are attending a seminar on how to teach the International Convention on the Rights of the Child to students and will then share the acquired knowledge to class teachers from the institutions that they represent, Victoria Matveev, the head of the public association Inteco that organized the seminar, has told Info-Prim Neo. “There are tested new methods of teaching chidlren's rights in preuniversity education establishments in Moldova at classes given by head masters,” Victoria Matveev said, adding that emphasis will be laid on interactive games. The partners of the project are the Ministry of Education, the Independent Press Association, the Cahul District Council, the Cahul General Division of Education and a number of public associations from the district. The project is implemented with financial support from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and Soros-Moldova Foundation.
