Cadastre services over the Internet
The state-run company Cadastre started to provide a part of the services over the Internet. In a news conference on Friday, the company's director Angela Matkov said the persons can now use the website www.cadastru.md to order extracts from the Real Estate Register and certificates about the value of the realty, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The electronic services portal works according to a very simple principle. The user is guided how to fill out the form and how to make the payments. The charge is paid through the commercial banks indicated on the website and through post offices,” said Angela Matkov.
She also said that this way the persons have to go to the cadastre office only when they must take the asked for certificate and do not need to queue up to file an application.
The costs of ordering documents over the Internet are the same as when filing the application in person. The terms during which one can receive the documents is also the same – three days for obtaining extracts from the Real Estate Register and seven days for obtaining other information
Cadastre director general Vasile Grama said only the residents of the municipality of Chisinau will benefit from the given services at the fist stage. Later, the local cadastre offices will also offer the possibility of ordering such documents over the Internet. “We aim to provide all the services online. Our objective is to set up the e-Cadastre,” he added.
The Real Estate Register contains 4.5 million records concerning real estate, ownership and other kinds of rights.
