Cabinet’s performance as seen by government and opposition

Representatives of Șor Party consider the dismissal of the Gavrilița Government and the investment of a professional executive that would take into account the proposals of all the parliamentary groups are the best solution for the country. After 100 days in office, the Government is accused of poorly managing the pandemic crisis and the energy crisis. For their part, representative of the government admit that the changes in the country happen not at the pace at which society would want, but this is due to the international energy crisis and the bad legacy inherited from the previous governments, IPN reports.

“We are dissatisfied with the Government’s approach to the energy crisis that is not yet over. The signing of the contract does not mean solving of the problem. The Government does not cope with the faced challenges. The Government should be efficient, but efficiency is possible only as a result of a dialogue,” Șor Party MP Denis Ulanov stated in the program “Friday with Anatolie Golea” on RTR Moldova channel.

PAS MP Vladimir Bolea said the Government works very well if a number of objective factors are taken into account. “First of all, it goes to the inheritance left by the former governments. The state during 30 years had been built on stealing and corruption. Something can be built with upright people. We have a lot of vacancies of state secretary because the salaries are low. Until now, the people worked for the salary and also for the money obtained in an envelope. Secondly, the Republic of Moldova was fully isolated at international level. During four years, we hand’s spoken with the Ukrainians and behaved unfriendly towards the Romanians, who were welcomed under bridges,” said the MP.

During the first 100 days of the formation of the Government, the parliamentary opposition submitted two simple motions – for the dismissal of Minister of Justice Sergiu Litvinenco and for the dismissal of Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco. The first motion failed, while the second is to be debated in Parliament. The simple motions are carried with the votes of at least 51 MPs, while the PAS parliamentary group has a comfortable majority of 63 seats
