The Cabinet on June 23 appointed two ambassadors and a member of the Integrity Council of the National Integrity Authority.
At the suggestion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Emil Druc was named as Moldova’s Ambassador to France, while Aureliu Ciocoi as Ambassador to the United States.
Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, said the two are career diplomats and have worked for over 20 years in the diplomatic service. Emil Druc served as Moldova’ Ambassador to Sweden, while Aurel Ciocoi as Ambassador to Germany. The decrees to appoint the new ambassadors are to be signed by President Igor Dodon.
In the same meeting, ex-minister of justice Oleg Efrim was named as a member of the Integrity Council of the National Integrity Authority for a five-year term.
