Cabinet modifies nominal composition of joint intergovernmental commissions for economic, commercial, scientific and technical cooperation

The Government approved a new decision modifying the nominal composition of the 28 joint intergovernmental commissions set up under the bilateral commercial-economic cooperation agreements signed with partner countries, following the changes made to the structure of the executive and ministries, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the decision, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Trade Igor Dodon will be co-president of the intergovernmental Moldovan-Russian, Moldova-U.S., Moldovan-Romanian, Moldovan-Ukrainian and Moldovan-Turkish commissions. Deputy Prime Minister Victor Stepaniuc will be co-president of the intergovernmental Moldovan-Georgian, Moldovan-Chinese and Moldovan-Belorussian commissions. Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Anatolie Gorodenco will be co-president of the intergovernmental Moldovan-Kazakh, Moldovan-Uzbek, Moldovan-Tajikistani, Moldovan-Kyrgyz and Moldovan-Turkmen commissions. Minister of Finance Mariana Durlesteanu will head the Moldovan-Greek, Moldovan-Austrian, Moldovan-Lithuanian and Moldovan-Swiss commissions on behalf of Moldova. Minister of Culture and Tourism Artur Cozma was named as co-president of the Moldovan-Israeli commission, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Tudor Copaci – as co-president of the Moldovan-Armenian, Moldovan-Polish, Moldovan-Hungarian, Moldovan-Czech commissions, while Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Iurie Muntean – as co-president of the Moldovan-Slovenian, Moldovan-Slovak and Moldovan-Vietnamese commissions.
