The Cabinet agreed the plan of activities for commemorating the 25th anniversary of the start of the battles for defending the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova (1991-1992), IPN reports.

Among the most important events is the Memory March, which will end with a commemoration meeting and laying of flowers at the moment “Grieving Mother” and at the Memorial Complex
“Eternity”. The events will take place on March 2.

Also, commemorative plaques will be unveiled in a number of settlements. A number of streets will be renamed to bear names of killed heroes. The invalids and families of those killed in war will receive lump sums, while the veterans will also benefit from medical assistance.
