Cabinet approves framework partnership agreement in social sphere with France

The Cabinet agreed the framework partnership agreement between the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and the French Office for Immigration and Integration for putting into practice the reintegration assistance program, IPN reports.

The agreement was signed on October 2, 2017. The Moldovans who stay in France legally or illegally and will return home to work will be helped to develop professionally and to start a business. The financial assistance will be provided for a period of at most six months, in the amount of €400 for an adult and of €300 for a child. The assistance will be mainly used to pay rent, to outfit the rented accommodations, to prepare the children for school and to start businesses abroad based on the accumulated experience.

According to unofficial reports, over 3,000 Moldovans stay legally in France. The number of those who stay illegally there is not known.
