A taxi driver and his passenger died after the car in which they were skidded, crashed into a tree and caught fire. The accident happened at the exit from Donduseni town towards Sudarca village in the morning of March 13.
Contacted by IPN, Alina Bunghez, press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate, said it is alleged that the driver lost control of the vehicle and this ran into a tree. The circumstances are being determined.
The identity of the passenger hasn’t been yet discovered.
Update: The taxi driver and passenger were brothers. It was established that the driver was the father of the five-month-old child who, three weeks ago, died after he was dropped by his mother while playing. The man, who worked abroad, returned home. The couple also has a daughter. The information was confirmed for IPN by the deputy head of the Donduseni Police Inspectorate Valentin Bujac.
