By rejecting an alliance with the Democratic Party (PDM), the Bloc ACUM actually guarantees an anti-European alliance. If the PDM forms an alliance with the Party of Socialists (PSRM), the intensity of Moldova’s European course will decrease drastically, political pundit Anatol Țăranu was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel.
“If the PDM forms an alliance with the PSRM, it will have to concede serious positions as regards the European course and this way we will get the opposite of what ACUM promised in the election campaign and they promised to keep the European course, including by bringing the oligarchic domination in the Republic of Moldova to an end,” stated Anatol Țăranu.
The pundit noted a potential government program between the PDM and the Bloc ACUM could be supported immediately by representatives of the European People’s Party and of the Party of European Socialists and guarantees that the financing to Moldova would be provided if all the provisions of the government program were respected could be obtained.
Journalistic Vlad Darie said time has come for the more serious political players to enter the game. “Silence is good up to a moment. Particular seriousness is sown by silence, but time comes when things should be connected as the voters can no longer wait,” he stated.
According to the journalist, they always choose the most important value, the supreme value of a party at negotiations. “If the Bloc ACUM said the European integration is the most important value, this implies the building of institutional democracy that fights corruption, negative phenomena in society and ensures the rule of law with independent and free institutions. So, we should start from here,” said Vlad Darie.
He noted that if the European integration is the point that unites the two entities, the secondary things should be left side.
