The polling stations in Bologna, Parma and Verona (Italy) and by two polling stations in Paris (France) are the most popular polling places abroad. According to the situation at 1pm, 1,693 to 1,980 electors voted there, IPN reports.

At another five polling stations in Italy – Padova (2 stations), Brescia, Treviso and Milan –1,400 to 1,600 citizens voted by 1pm. As many people voted at the two polling stations in Frankfurt am Main in Germany.

Each of the given polling stations has by a most 5,000 available ballots.
