A businesswoman from Bălți town is investigated under arrest for planning the murder by order of the lover of her former husband. She found a killer and was ready to pay €5,000 to his. Before this, the 57-year-old woman tried to obtain the job and domicile addresses of close relatives of the victim from illegally accessed databases.

According to the police, the man cooperated with officers of the National Investigation Inspectorate. To gather evidence, the victim’s murder was staged and, to get the money from the woman, the man provided her with confirmatory photos. The woman was arrested when she was passing on the money. She was remanded in custody for 30 days.

Under the law, the preparing of the murder of a person, by order, carries 15 to 20 years in jail or life.
