Business incubators set up in Leova and Stefan-Voda districts
Two business incubators will be soon opened in the districts of Leova and Stefan-Voda, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar announced, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the areas for the two incubators were identified in cooperation with the district public authorities. The buildings were examined and there were worked out reconstruction projects. Tender contests were announced to select the construction companies that will perform the works.
The business incubators play an important role in ensuring the infrastructure needed to support the small and medium-sized enterprises, said Valeriu Lazar. The Ministry of Economy and the local authorities aim to set up by two business incubators a year in different regions of the country.
“We have a positive experience with the business incubator in Soroca that helps to develop the new companies and became a business center in the town and the district, which attracts the local business communities to all the business events,” said the minister of economy.
The business incubator in Soroca was launched in December 2009, with support from the Government of Norway within the EnTranse 2 Your Business program. The incubator offers 17 SMEs production areas at a low rent. The given enterprises also benefit from consultancy and different services for developing their businesses and identifying markets and partners.
