Business incubator opened in Rezina

A business incubator with 15 resident companies was opened in Rezina town. Attending the opening on November 23, Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar said that a business incubator represents a reference point for those who want to start a business and are ready to take risks, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Rezina District Council. “I’m glad that the local authorities of Rezina had the courage and necessary opening to become our partners in this project,” said Valeriu Lazar. The incubator can accommodate 19 businesses. The total cost of the project is almost 7 million lei. On November 23, 15 companies, including production enterprises, became residents of the Rezina business incubator and will create at least 60 workplaces. They will manufacture clothes and provide consultancy services in the area of information technology and studying of English and French, advertising services, tourism services, cosmetology services and others. The Rezina business incubator is the third incubator created with the financial support of the EU. Wicher Slagter, head of the Politics and Economy Division of the European Union Delegation to Moldova, said that the opening of the business incubator in Rezina represents an important support for developing small and medium-sized enterprises in Moldova, stressing their importance for the economy of a European country.
