A car with tourists heading for the Republic of Moldova was involved in a road accident in Vrancea County in Romania. When going towards Adjud, the bus skidded off the road in Pufești. Two of the 44 passengers were hurt, while six experienced panic attacks, IPN reports, quoting agerpres.ro.
According to the Vrancea Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, six passengers were given first aid by ambulance teams at the scene. The other passengers refused to be accommodated in Vrancea and were later taken home by another bus of the same carrier.
As the Vrancea County Police Inspectorate reported, the breath alcohol test showed that the bus driver wasn’t inebriated. A criminal case was started over causing of bodily injuries.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Filip Cojocaru said the institution will provide details about the accident later.
