Bus with Moldovans involved in traffic collision in Russia

Five persons were hurt when a minibus with passengers from the Republic of Moldova crashed violently with a truck. It happened in the Russian oblast Pskov on December 5, IPN reports.

The Russian news agency TASS reported there were 14 passengers and two drivers on the bus that was travelling from St. Petersburg to Chisinau. According to the police in Russia, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle and collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction. The accident occurred on a road section were repair works were being performed.

As a result of the impact, the drivers of both of the vehicles and three bus passengers suffered injuries. Two persons were hospitalized, but their state is not serious.

The passengers that were unhurt returned to St. Petersburg by another bus.
