Buses No. 5 will run on the Iurie Gagarin Blvd – Tabacaria Veche St route on a trial basis between December 2, 2017 and February 1, 2018. An order to this effect was signed by acting mayor of Chisinau municipality Silvia Radu after sellers of the old things market on Tabacaria Veche St complained that there is no public transport in the area, IPN reports.

The bus will travel along the streets Gagarin, Dimitrie Cantemir, Ismail, Calea Basarabiei and Tabacaria Veche and back along the streets Tabacaria Veche, Calea Basarabiei, Calea Mosilor, Ismail, Dimitrie Cantemir and Iurie Gagarin.

From Monday through Friday, the bus will set off from Iurie Gagarin Blvd at 7:30am and 8:30am, while from Tabacaria Veche St at 2:30pm and 3:30pm. On Saturday and Sunday, the bus will set off from the same stations at 7am, 8am and 9am and, respectively, at 2:30pm and 3:30pm.
