A bus running on the Chisinau – Moscow route overturned in Vinnitsa region of Ukraine. There were 35 passengers on the bus that is registered in Moldova. A Russian female citizen suffered injuries in the accident.

“Moldova’s Embassy in Ukraine contacted the police in Vinnitsa, which confirmed that a road accident involving a bus from the Republic of Moldova with 35 passengers aboard occurred at about 6:40pm on October 11. As a result of the accident, a female citizen of the Russian Federation suffered traumas,” spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Daniel Vodă stated for IPN.

The other passengers continued their way to Moscow by another bus that was provided by the Moldovan transport company.

The Ukrainian authorities informed Moldova’s Embassy that an inquiry was lunched to determine the circumstances of the accident.
