The bus route No. 5 will be supplemented with two units of transport next week. The buses were donated to Chisinau by the Bucharest City Hall under an agreement that was recently signed by the two municipalities, IPN reports.

In the ceremony to present the buses, acting head of the General Public Transport and Communications Division Vitalie Butucel said the units of transport have a transportation capacity of 100 persons and are outfitted with air conditioning and ramps for wheelchairs. The buses are not new. They were made in 2006 and ran on the streets of Bucharest, but could be used for twice longer yet.

With the two donated buses, the number of units of transport on route No. 5 will rise to ten.
